GoPro’s HD Helmet HERO is the world’s highest performance wearable 1080p HD video and still photo camera. Professional quality 1080p / 960p / 720p HD resolutions record at 30 and 60 frames per second (60 fps in 720p). Record up to 2.5 hours on a single charge and up to 9 hours total on a 32GB SD card (not included). The camera can also shoot automatic 5MP photos at 2/5/10/30 and 60 second intervals during your activity, hands free. Press the shutter button once at the start of your activity and record up to 2.5 hours of poster-print quality photos of you and your friends, living it up. Included are mounts for attaching the camera to three helmets and two pieces of gear or vehicles, as well as a head strap allowing you to wear the camera like a headlamp. You can also pull this strap over helmets for easy camera sharing between friends. One of the above mentioned helmet mounts is a lace-through strap-mount designed for vented helmets. The HD Helmet HERO is compatible with all other GoPro HERO camera mounting accessories, so it’s very easy to expand the functionality of your camera to also suction cup to vehicles, clamp to bike handlebars and seat posts, mount to surfboards and even be worn on the wrist or chest. Dave has just completed principal photography on the feature Freakdance for Upright Citizens Brigade. Directed by Matt Besser and Neil Mahoney. Tvacom rented the grip and lighting truck as well as the jib used in the movie. The shoot was a blast. Great cast and crew.The last week were all nights so it was tough getting used to that schedule and even tougher the following week going back to regular sleep.
011-20-07 Dave just went to Vegas and had an opportunity to shoot on the Gene Simmons “Family Jewels” show. It is one of the top rated show on A&E and it is shot on the new Panasonic HDX900 camera. It was a great weekend.

03-15-06 Tvacom’s Film and TV’s David Thies is finishing up a 2 month shoot on Jamie Kennedy’s new MTV show Blowin’ Up as the Director of Photography overseeing the look and feel of 6 cameras. David says this about the show “Jamie and Stu, the 2 stars, have been awesome to work with. . .the shoot has been challenging at times with 3 camera rigged to a hummer driving around LA but has been a blast. The show is going to be awesome.

12-10-05 Magic Aid 2005 has come and gone and was a great success and everyone had a great time. Jason Alexander of Seinfeld fame among others hosted the event. Lifelike Productions Incs’ Jude Gerard Prest developed this fund raiser to raise money for Hurricane Victims. 11-19-05 AOL (America On-Line) called upon Tvacom Film and TV for full production services and sent Dave to Philadelphia to produce, shoot and edit a behind-the-scenes 4 minute piece on the National Dog Show that was on ABC Thanksgiving Day just after the Macy’s Day Parade.
11-19-05 Tvacom Productions’ Brian Honican is producing a new fitness video for “new moms.” Production is to wrap before Christmas. Look for that video to hit video relase in mid-2006.
11-15-05 Dave Thies has been tapped by Jude Gerard Prest to Supervise Produce a news series for A&E. Pilot is to be shot in early January 2006. Should be a great show. More info as we are allowed to release.

10-15-05 David Thies has just completed filming Jamie Kennedys’ new reality show pilot for MTV called “Blowin’ Up”. MTV has picked it up for 8 shows. Production is set for early 2006. Dave has been put on hold as Director of Photography.
9-10-05 David Thies has just shot some of the opening meet and greets on Fox’s new “Skating with Celebrities” He worked with Bruce Jenner, Jillian Barberie, Todd Bridges and many others. A new ice sckating show ala Dancing with the Stars. He caught one of the first good spills on the ice.(Everyone was ok) IT will air beginning of 2006.
9-15-05 David Thies has just shot a pilot for A. Smith & Co. They are the company that produced “Hells Kitchen and a new show for Fox called “Skating With Celebrities”.

5-15-05 David Thies has just sold a 1 hour special to Animal Planet with Lifelike Productions’ Jude Gerard Prest called “Mayor Dog” a story about a small Kentucky town called Rabbit Hash that elected a dog mayor of their town. We wrote a story about what the dogs duties are now that the Black Lab is mayor. 4-15-05 David Thies has just shot a new VH1 series called “Home James”. He was the tech supervisor and steadicam operator at the home base.
